Fall Begins With A Busy Weekend
Over 150 people attended various Diocesan events as the fall program year began this weekend.
Mary Parmer presented the Invite Welcome Connect process and resources to a group of 50 clergy on Friday and a group of 60 lay people and clergy on Saturday. Invite Welcome Connect provides hands on, concrete ideas for evangelism and hospitality. Bishop Franklin described the events as a pep rally to get everyone excited about sharing the stories of our congregations with our neighbors.
To celebrate the coming of fall more than 50 Episcopalians of all ages gathered at Darien Lake Amusement Park for an afternoon and evening of rides, fun and food. This is the second annual Episcopal Day at Darien Lake. Everyone, including the Bishop, enjoyed great weather, fun rides and good food.
